4D Imaging performed consulting work for the concrete supports used on the new Benicia Bridge. Concrete was poured into large forms containing steel rebar and plastic pipe. The pipe was used to run water through the cooling concrete to control the rate of cooling of the concrete. 4D Imaging performed an analysis of the concrete, steel, and plastic pipe assembly to optimize the cooling and the mounting of the plastic pipes within the assembly.
