Using a laser scanner that is inserted both at the top and the bottom of the Coke Drum, an accurate 3D image is obtained. Using propietary software, our engineers perform a finite element analysis on the data. Most importantly, the cone of the Coke Drum is also analyzed, as it can show some of the most severe weaknesses. No other company performs FEA on a cone.
