Documenting the inside of large vessels can be a huge problem. For many years, refineries had to rely on laser scanning only to inspect the inside of coke drums until the 4D Imaging engineering team developed a robotic arm that allows imaging with either video or still cameras.
A third generation system is currently being developed that will be extremely lightweight, so I can travel in a suitcase around the world servicing customers worldwide. |
